“There is no better gift in the world than commissioning Louise Mellon to do a portrait of a horse or pet.  Not only does she bring a lifelong love of animals to her work, but also her deep knowledge of the unique personality of each animal, which she brilliantly and sensitively captures in each picture.  With her extraordinary exposure to art, and her great talent, she somehow creates pictures that are unique and unlike any others------genius I suppose.  A rare and original talent.”

I just received the painting of Mindy and it is spectacular!   I love it!  Thank you so much what a blessing.

“It is a great pleasure, and fun, to commission Louise Mellon to create a picture.  She makes it so easy, and it is fascinating to see the way she works, requesting pictures that convey the personality of the animal, as her interest is in capturing what is unique and personal to that animal--------and she achieves her aim brilliantly!”

What a beautiful painting.  There really are no words.  I had to stop crying before I wrote this just to be able to see to write. J.D.'s portrait arrived today and it is SPECTACULAR!  More wonderful than I expected.  I really don't know what to say.  Thank You just doesn't seem to suffice.

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  Love, hugs and kisses from JD and me

OMG!  Louise!  That is WONDERFUL.  It looks like he could just start howling.  I knew you were good but I just never knew HOW GOOD!!

“My friends were thrilled with the portrait of Orb, and it I was delighted that Louise Mellon undertook the commission;  it is almost impossible to get a special present for friends who don’t really need anything-----------but not with Louise.   The charm and delight of the portrait, which captures the spirit of Orb so beautifully, is a treasure!”

You have a real talent that is such a joy to share. I am so lucky to have some of my special family members immortalized by you!!!!
